As an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc., Pete Elder develops and delivers interventions aimed at providing lasting improvements and breakthroughs in the way people view themselves and work with others and in the degree to which they add value and create impact in their organizations and communities. He is deeply committed to developing the vast potential that exists within individuals and teams and brings to his work a strong background in interpersonal effectiveness, along with a great deal of energy and spirit.

The focus of Pete’s work is on developing both greater intra- and inter-team productivity and team leaders themselves. He integrates into his interventions innovative processes, such as outdoor experiential activities, using them as powerful metaphors to identify current and/or desired states of team and leadership effectiveness.

Pete has been involved in the fields of managerial and organization development since 1987. He has worked with teams from the supervisory to the senior-management level, with project teams, and with global teams. He has consulted with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and non-profit organizations, both within the United States and internationally.
