Senior Team Alignments
The newly promoted CEO of a well-known retail organization wanted to create synergy among her senior team, consisting of executives from two separate lines of business. While the businesses had historically performed as separate entities, there were obvious advantages to be gained in performance by developing an overall company strategy and sharing best practices among the businesses.
GDS interviewed each member of this senior team to identify key issues and facilitated a team alignment process to develop the level of trust and communication necessary to successfully resolve issues. Ground rules and operating protocols were created with the team to guide them in future decision making and conflict resolution and concrete action steps were developed to foster continued interdependence among the businesses.
