BARRY SAGOTSKY
Barry Sagotsky is an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc. Barry's focus at GDS is on executive, management, and organizational development. Barry has been a successful consultant, facilitator, trainer, manager, and coach for over 30 years. He is expert in a number of disciplines, including Structural Consulting. He has been involved in the design and implementation of organization change and quality systems for up to 70,000 employees. He has extensive experience in conflict resolution on both the individual and organizational levels. Among the many organizations for which he has consulted are American Express, AT&T, Exxon, FedEx, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Mars, Merck, Pfizer, Sara Lee, Schering-Plough, Volkswagen of America, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Barry's corporate experience includes GCI Healthcare, division of Grey Advertising, where he headed the global clinical trial recruitment business. At Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, he was responsible for Management Training at the corporate level and provided facilitation for business planning for subsidiaries in Western and Eastern Europe and throughout North America. He provided senior team development for the same organizations to ensure team effectiveness. Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Barry held a number of positions at Janssen Pharmaceutica, a division of Johnson & Johnson.
Barry is one of 37 top management experts included in Marshall Goldsmith's book, Learning Journeys. He is also included in Robert Fritz's books Corporate Tides and Path of Least Resistance for Managers. Barry has presented before national organizations such as ASTD, DIA, AQP, NMHCC, and Pharmillenium. He has acted as advisor to the Journal of Biolaw and Business, "Leadertalk" on PBS's Business Channel, and the World Economic Development Congress.
Barry received his B.A. and M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
