MARK H. LANDSBERG

MARK H. LANDSBERG Mark H. Landsberg is an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc., focusing his professional expertise in the areas of executive, management, and organizational development. Mark leverages his unique Fortune 100 experience in operations, P&L, and business development to accelerate his clients' business goals. He has served the financial services, professional services, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, publishing, retail, and technology industries.

Mark's current assignments and principal focus include aligning senior management teams, developing the strategy for and implementation of "horizontal" organizations (brand teams, matrix structures, global teams) and executive coaching and development. He also manages business-process redesign projects for various core operations and human resources systems initiatives.

Early in his career, Mark held key management development positions at Merrill Lynch & Co., and American Express. He was instrumental in creating multi-level development programs for businesses across the U.S., Canada, U.K., Latin America, and Japan. He specialized in internal consulting, working closely with business units to develop training game plans to improve sales, marketing, and operational effectiveness.

Mark's corporate experience also includes Citigroup's (formerly Citibank's) Systems and Technology Division, where he was director of training and organization development. Within a matrix organization, he instituted performance management, high-potential identification and leadership development, assessment centers, succession planning, and project management across business lines. Before joining GDS, Mark was an area director with the global human resources and career services consulting firm of Drake Beam Morin. There, he improved operations and revitalized their practice areas in senior-level executive coaching and development, outplacement consulting, and training.

Mark has spoken at numerous professional conferences and contributes to national multi-media coverage on such topics as leadership, executive assessment and development, career transition, e-business, and managing change.

Mark earned his B.A. in psychology from The American University in Washington, D.C. and his M.S. in industrial organization development from the Columbia University School of Social Work.
