He coaches executives to find their authentic voice and articulate their message with the confidence that inspires extraordinary relationships and loyalty. In the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, and public speaking, Robert brings a depth of insight, wisdom, and humor to all the practical applications of his work. Robert began his career in key management development positions in the airline, hospitality, and restaurant industries. After returning to studies at New York University, he developed a project and management consulting practice. He implemented programs at all organizational levels, specializing in leadership development, coaching, and performance management to assist organizations in meeting strategic goals. His industry experience includes information technology, finance, pharmaceuticals, insurance, telecommunications, consumer products, publishing, as well as the non-profit sector. Robert has consulted with numerous Fortune 500 corporations, and non-profit organizations. He has spoken at numerous professional conferences on such topics as "Leading Your Life With Personal Mastery." "Remembering Your Purpose," "Empower Yourself to Empower Others," "The Leadership Challenge: Leading Self, Staff, and Clients," and "The Four Masteries of Organizational Fitness." He has authored The Challenge of Leadership in the Family, Community, and Workplace and Rites of Passage of Boys into Manhood in Modern Society. He is the founder of the not-for-profit Leadership Institute for Educators, which focuses on the role of educators as leaders who can inspire students to extraordinary results. Among his professional affiliations are The OD Network, ASTD, and the National Speakers Association. Robert attended North Carolina University and Belmont Abbey College, where he studied biology, philosophy, and comparative theology. His studies at New York University were focused on computer science and linguistics. |
