Consultant Biographies GISELE GARCIA
Gisele Garcia is an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc. She has been involved in organizational and leadership development in a wide variety of industries, both in the U.S. and internationally. Gisele specializes in leadership development, team productivity, and organization effectiveness. Her work in leadership development includes design through implementation of leadership systems, competency modeling and assessment, coaching, and training. Her work with teams focuses on building high-performance teams, which includes intra- and inter-team alignment, work-process redesign, and facilitation toward business-driven goals. Her work with organization effectiveness includes strategic realignment to customer-driven priorities and organizational redesign. Gisele began her consulting career as a human resources consultant for The Hay Group in New York City. She then became director of program development for the American Quality Foundation, an executive-led think tank founded to support the long-term development of quality improvement. As an internal consultant at Merrill Lynch, she aligned quality initiatives to business needs, implemented the Balanced Scorecard, facilitated the reorganization to team-based organizations, and created and implemented the ML Benchmarking Methodology. Prior to joining GDS, Gisele worked with Charter Oak Consulting Group, where she focused on leadership, team, and organization development. Gisele is currently program director for the Conference Board's Council on Executive Coaching, leading a group 25+ leaders of executive-coaching functions, primarily from Fortune 100 companies, to create and share best practices in the field. Gisele holds a bachelor's degree in history and French from Vassar College and a master's degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University. She is a certified coach from The Newfield Network. |
